About

Doggie Avenue was established in 2007. It is a full-service dog grooming and select retail boutique specializing primarily in canine breeds – including pedigree, rare breeds, mixed and rescue. Cats are also welcome.

Since the inception of DA, its superb reputation has been based on first-class customer service, its love of animals and its professional and knowledgeable staff – including loyal, experienced groomers who love what they do and take pride in their accomplishments.

As an original customer of Doggie Avenue and an owner of three Coton de Tulears (Lambert, Petula and Miette) and one home-grown Doggie Avenue Yorkie (Crouton aka “Croutie”), who sadly left me with a broken heart in August 2022, my love for dogs and commitment to perfection is reflected by the staff and DA’s welcome environment.

After nearly six years of ownership, DA lost its lease to the original location on Magnolia Blvd. It took ten (10) months looking for another location, while negotiating with the landlord to extend our lease, multiple disappointments, emotional ups and downs, being told by the City that potential properties were not officially zoned for animals, and many rejections from landlords not wanting to lease space for doggie occupancy.  Determined to remain in the City of Burbank to accommodate our loyal patrons–many who reside in Burbank–and on the verge of permanently closing the business, I finally struck gold! It was worth the wait, and the stress. Construction is almost complete and as of September 22, 2022, we will open in our sparkling new building–a major upgrade for DA–and “superior” location with ample parking on Victory Blvd. Our new address is listed below; our phone number remains the same. We are excited to better serve our VIP customers (“Very Important Pups”) and their owners.

We look forward to sharing a new chapter with our loyal long-time customers and those who are “new” to Doggie Avenue.
